Hall of Fame coach Dave Richardson of Verona spoke to The Big 1070 following the Wildcats' 27-22 win over Middleton about the big week two victory.

Verona's big 27-22 win over Middleton was an exciting back-and-forth contest, and for the young Wildcats, many of whom were experiencing their first varsity action in a four-quarter game, it was a big moment to grow up and learn how to win.

Veorna is 2-0 and is tied with Madison Memorial atop the conference, with Janesville Craig at 1-0 still to play Saturday night against Janesville Parker.
