Ethan Happ's triple-double highlights Wisconsin's season-opening win over Coppin State on Tuesday night, 85-63 at the Kohl Center.
Happ hit two late free throws to give him a 10-11-12 triple-double, the second in school history (Josh Gasser accomplished the feat in 2011).
Wisconsin had a 22-point lead at halftime, which also ended up being the final margin. D'Mitrik Trice led the way with 21 points, and Brevin Pritzl scored 16 for Wisconsin.
Other top Badgers scorers were Brad Davison (9), Nate Reuvers (8), Kobe King (8), and Khalil Iverson (7).
Coppin State was led in scoring by Lamar Morgan (15) and Taqwain Drummond (11).
